London Calls for Fiesta Beach Painting
An art consultant from London who specializes in finding art for high end hotels contacted me a few months ago. She said she had come across one of my paintings that she had an interest in for a renovation project— a 5 Star boutique hotel in Palm Beach, Florida.

The piece of interest was Fiesta Beach, a semi abstracted, mixed-media landscape painting. She wanted 8 pieces reproduced on canvas to go into each of the 8 executive suites. The size had to be 40 x 40 inches square.

After negotiating the licensing fee, I created the large hi-resolution file to be uploaded to her printing company.

Fast forward another few months, we drove down to Palm Beach to take a look at my artwork. When the hotel’s concierge took us to see one of the suites in which my art was located, we were amazed to see how fabulous the piece looked at this enlarged size! The colors, the texture, the depth , and the details had been reproduced beautifully. I was happy with the outcome.

We walked around the hotel’s outdoor pool, the lobby, and had lunch in the patio. And, I took photos of course! They are shown here.
I loved the pool area with a variety of pink colors in the building, the interior, poolside furniture, and umbrellas. If you get down to this area, be sure to take a suitcase full of money. The exec suites go for over $3,000 per night! It was a fun little weekend trip to see how the rich and famous vacation but, no we did not stay in this hotel! ☹️
