My name is Rene Griffith and I am delighted to welcome you to my online art gallery. I create abstract and mixed media paintings from my studio in Indialantic, FL, often inspired by the natural beauty of Florida's Space Coast and from my frequent travels.

I spent many years following the expectations of my parents and of society. Along the way I had three wonderful children, a variety of jobs and careers before I began studying and learning how to become an artist. Here you can read my CV. Today, after much soul searching, I found that following your dream, rather than the expectations of others, is the way to create a happy and successful life in art or in any other endeavor. Now in my studio, I continue to learn, explore, and paint daily. I paint contemporary abstract and mixed media artworks. My hope is they capture the essence of places I have ventured, tell my stories, share my memories, and convey my thoughts and feelings on canvas.
